Poster Guidelines

We are delighted to welcome all poster presenters to the 15^th International Symposium on Frontiers in Biomedical Polymers! Below you will find essential information regarding poster preparation, dimensions, display rules, and session scheduling. Please read carefully, this document, to ensure the best presentation experience.

 

General rules

• Poster authors are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the venue.
• At least one author must be present during the respective poster session.
• Only scientific content is permitted; commercial or promotional material is not allowed.
• Please ensure all visuals and text are clear, professional, and appropriately cited.
• All posters must comply with the provided poster presentation guidelines, including dimensions, format, and scheduling.
• Poster location will be identified by the abstract number. Posters will be arranged numerically and organized by topic.

 

Poster display requirements:

• Format: Posters must be prepared in portrait orientation (A0 format).
• Type: Printed
• Language: All posters must be written in English.
• Maximum Dimensions:
  • Width: 90 cm
  • Height: 120 cm

 

Posters exceeding these dimensions may not fit the display boards and could be rejected. Materials for mounting (e.g., pins, or tape) will be provided on-site.

 

Poster Sessions & Schedule

Posters will be presented during the official Poster Sessions as part of the scientific program.

Session Dates:

• Session 1: Tuesday, 23^rd September 2025
• Session 2: Wednesday, 24^th September 2025
• Session 3: Thursday, 25^th September 2025

Posters will be divided across the three days. Each poster abstract will be assigned to one of the poster sessions.

 

Presentation Timing:

Poster presentations will take place during the coffee breaks of each session day. Presenters are expected to be present at their posters during these breaks to engage with attendees and respond to questions.

 

Poster Setup & Removal

Posters should be set up ideally no later than the Opening Ceremony (Monday, 22^nd September 2025) and remain in place for the duration of the symposium.

Suitable fixing material will be provided by the organizers. If the posters are made of a different material than paper (e.g. cloth), organizers do not guarantee that the posters will remain in place.

Poster boards and poster card numbers will be provided at the poster presentation area, presenters must stick their posters on the assigned poster board (Poster Number Assigned in the Final Program).

Posters must be removed at the end of the symposium, on Friday 26^th September 2025.

The organizers will remove any posters left behind and may not be returned.
